While our office was working on a file this morning, we began getting the prompt "Can't edit the element until "adminCTL2E" resaves the element to central and relinquishes it and you Reload Latest." We have started again from a new central model among other attempts at a fix, and I have checked both the forums and the wider web for some idea as to a cause. The closest I can come is that it might have something to do with licensing, but our house seems to be in order in that regard. Any clue to our mystery user would be appreciated.

Log out of Revit at top right of screen.
Log in to Revit with the "mystery" name, then Synch to Central and Relinquish.
Revit "R" at top left of screen, Options, Username
Thanks for the quick reply Cliff. It sounds like a good workaround, but unless I am missing something, I cannot sign out of Revit and open the program again without my A360 account being reactivated- maybe because our office is running on subscription instead of perpetual. It is interesting to me that the problem began during an active modeling session rather than on startup. . .
