Can't Edit a Sweep

I have a sweep that I can't edit. When I try to edit it, I can get to be able to select the magenta path lines, but I can't move them or select a new 3D path. 'Sketch Path' is grayed out. I copied pasted it into a new project to test it and it works OK. Any clues what's wrong before I recreate it? Thanks.

I believe that sketch path would be grayed out when you used pick path when you created it and selected the edge of an element which is

  • either hidden in view
  • or has been delete

(example u used a mass, then you hide the category or delete the mass)

You cannot move the magenta path because it it locked to the edge of the element or mass you used.

  1. this means the element hosting the path is not deleted
  2. if the element hosting the path was deleted, the sweep's path (magenta/edited) will be free to move.

Either you need to reveal hidden elements and see where the path is hosted and unhide it

OR you can simply use Pick 3D edge again and host it elsewhere

That's the problem, I can get to 'Pick 3D' but it won't let me pick anything but other lines in the sweep.  I'll just recreate. Thank you for looking at it.
