I have a schedule which we are using as a Code Matrix (from the project template). All of the parameters in the columns are project parameters in the "Parts" category and are just Text data.
I want to duplicate this schedule so that I can remove some of the rows of content, from the version that appears on the sheet, but not loose that data from the project entirely incase I want to pull it back (irrelevant code sections/ zoning etc). When I right-click the schedule in the project browser and go to "Duplicate View" all of the sub-options for this schedule are grayed out, whereas for the door schedule the first option for "Duplicate" is available.
Is there something that would prevent the duplication of a schedule? I don't believe it is a key schedule, but I'm not sure how to tell if it is.

@ToanDN is there a way to tell if it is a key schedule? The original version of the schedule came from the template. There are other schedules which I know to be key schedules, but only because they are labeled as such. I can't see anything else in the properties or project browser that identifies a key schedule vs regular schedule.
Comparing the type in the properties - the Code Matrix schedule which I can't duplicate is the same type as the door schedule which I can duplicate. (SCHEDULE)
The known key schedules are a different type. (SCHEDULE 1)
- sorting the schedule in the browser can distinguish key schedules and component schedules
- if you see insert row then it is a key schedule or asheet index, notba component schedule
- and, if you can't duplicate then it is a key schedule
You can copy the key schedule and paste it into a new project model to keep the original. Then modify the one in the working project.
You could also create a new key schedule for a different category, but you would need to add all parameters and data from scratch.
