Can't draw strait space separator lines inside walls

I've done this many times before, not sure if this is some bug introduced in Revit 2025, or I forgot how I did it before.

But anyhow, I'm using spaces to calculate volume of buildings, with space separators placed where law in my country requires it.

But on this project space separators keep moving them selves at an angle once trimmed with other ones. Or  overshoot where they should end.

Here's a video of the issue.

I can't share the entire project, maybe just some walls if you think that would help in diagnosing the issue.

I don't know your rules for Volume and how you calculate it,but this is not nightmare.just you need to more practice.

Seeing all those voids is enough to make me not want to do it 😄 I hate voids with a passion.

But could you share the model, I'd like to examine how you do it.

almost in twenty minutes.

Ouch, and to think this is literally a five minutes job in 3dsmax.

😁😂 i think using the space or room for volume ,is walking with iron shoes

I change the model to Preversion , you can not open it. if i have the time i make it in 2025 too.

i share it maybe tomorrow

but we work in Revit and no i dont think in 3d max take five minute you need more time if you want to have the clean and true volume , 3d max model not useful in Revit schedule .

True, it was a "hack" while I used to do it in Max. I'll examine your model now, thank you for recreating it!

But it really doesn't take much more than 5 minutes in Max, if you know what you're doing. I stopped using Max some three years ago, and here's a quick video how I used to do it in Max. Mesh modeling is awesome, wish we could have something like it in Revit.
