I'm having a problem with Autodesk support. Back in 2012 I purchased the student version of Autocad Revit Architecture Suite 2012 which has a perpetual license.
On the Autodesk site in my account, I plainly see the product AutoCAD Revit Architectural suite under my products and services. When I try to download the
product I get "no active downloads" "error unknown". I have been dealing with student support for the last three weeks with no resolution to my problem. Now when I go to my account
page and click on the help and support, help and support chat link is grayed out and support will not answer or reply to my emails. Does anyone know of a corporate link to Autodesk where I might get a resolution to my problem? Or a solution.
2012? Pretty sure there is no Revit 2012 is available for download from Autodesk. And if you are still a student or an educator, you can use available Revit versions for free via student licensing.
But you can ask your question here:

Student licenses cannot be purchased and are not perpetual.
I know it hard to remember a time when software co. didn't rent their products, but I think 2012 was on the cusp of that transition.
As said above, if you still qualify for the educational license, just get a newer version. If you don't qualify, bold of you come on the Autodesk forums and proclaim you're using an educational license when you shouldn't be...
That's not what I'm talking about.
Your STUDENT "version", which was a license, should have been free. Student licenses are also limited in duration.
I highly doubt that you purchased a perpetual student license. Check your EULA. Your first clue is the "L". It stands for license.
Good day.
