Hello,
I was trying to categorize the walls as internal and external walls but I have encountered problem with the infill elements. Understand that Revit will create infill if the insert and its host are created in different phases.
However, when I tried to set this wall as internal wall (as shown in wall.jpg), the warning related with infill element appeared (as shown in warning.jpg) even though the door and the wall were created in the same phase. I have tried excluding the door and the wall from the group, but to no avail.
Please find the attached images for your kind reference.
Thank you in advance. Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Change the wall deleting the door and re-insert it. Try if this works...

This error is being thrown when you try to change the Wall Function?
Something else is going on here.
Post your Project File. We'll figure out what it is.
Did you by chance mess with the Phasing of the Door outside of Group Edit Mode and now you are trying to change the Wall Type while inside Group Edit Mode? That'll do it.
I have to go back to the previous phase which I created the wall and door and delete them and rebuild the wall and door. Then only I can set the wall as internal wall (a parameter I created in order to generate the internal wall length) without any errors but there's a huge amount of work as I have quite a number of similar groups.
I created an instance parameter for all the walls as I need to categorize all the walls by type (internal or external walls) so that I can generate the internal and external wall length later on but somehow when I tried to select the highlighted wall and categorize it into internal wall, there is error with the infilling element.
Why don't you use the built-in Function to classify Exterior and Interior walls?
