Can't Delete a Family Out of Project

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hello,

This might seem silly but for some reason I cannot delete a family out of my project in Revit Architecure 2016.

This family is not pinned, when I select it and hit my delete button it doesn't do anything. I get no error messages, or pop-ups, but the object does not delete. If I right click the object, the delete option is greyed out. However, I am able to move the object without any  problems. I am also able to edit and change type properties. I just can't delete it!

I will add that this is a very tiny project, I am simply just modeling our office workstations. So this project just includes a desk with legs, a chair, some monitors and other small objects. There is no worksharing of any sort.

If anybody has some ideas, it would be greatly appreciated.

The family is two computer monitors on an arm. They are under the category "furniture systems"

If you use the family in another project does it have the same problem? Does your project use Worksets?
