Hello all, I'm trying to load  a parametric revolving door into my model on ground floor plan view.  I receive the following notification 'Can't create this kind of element in this view in the current mode.' I've successfully loaded a different revolving door so can't see what the issue is.

Try placing the door in a 3d view with the reference plane set to the level you want to place it. My guess is the family is not a door family but something else entirely.

It maybe a curtain wall door, which cannot be placed directly in the model. To place it, change a curtain panel type to that door type.
