I am trying to create a roof in a specific shape but somehow it doesn't work. I attached the revit file an image of the roof.
Everything is perfect except of the north boundary, that needs to have a 50° slope. But somehow I can't get a steeper slope on the north boundary than the east boundary. I tested a few things and the only ways I found to be able to change the slope to 50° where these:
- Set the Offset From Roof Base of the north boundary to 0
- Make the west boundary to also define the roof slope
Does anyone know why Revit does this and how to fix this?

If I understood your question...I mocked up individual roof planes to show what each slope will produce if you built each roof plane separately.
That's what the roof routine can't produce, it can't reconcile the pitches and create a complete roof where each surface resolves with the adjacent surfaces. I attached the model.

Hmm, I was able to get my version with individual roofs to work...attached. I'm not sure why Revit won't complete the sketch. I'll have to experiment more later but I think it is the eaves can't resolve the thickness, see image.

Well, it's not the easy fix i hoped, but it seems to work. Thank you both!
