Is it possible to apply different finishes to doors, like painting them with different colours/materials in each side (external/internal) without creating more geometry?

Why can't we just use paint tool for that? We are on the 2022 version of the software and don't have this ""feature""? What to do if we have 2 types of paint on an specific door?

In the family editor, you have to create two different material parameter.

Then use paint and apply it to one surface

Once you done this, you will be able to control two different material for exterior and interior.
