Can't add a Sink/ not visible

The sink is a Plumbing_Fixtures_Sgl_Sink_2D which is a standard family from the Revit Library. When I try to place it on the view a message appears: "None of the created elements are visible in Area Plan (GIA): 00 - Ground Floor Plan OVERLAY 2 of 2 View. You may want to check the active view, its Parameters, and Visibility settings, as well as any Plan Regions and their settings."

I have search in the Template's Vis. Settings and all the 'Plumbing Fixtures' are checked but still not showing. There are no any overrides added. Can you please advice me where in Template Vis. Settings a 'Plumbing Fixture' would be controlled not by a 'Plumbing Fixture' option? thank you.

Solved- The bloody 2d sink has a vertical position!?? So ive changed the cut plane and it appeared. How is it possible a 2D element to have a vertical position setting??? Its like when you draw a line to be able to set a height to it - unbelievable.

2D means it does not have any 3d geometry and they use 2d linework for plan and elevation presentation of the sink.  The vertical control is for the elevation of the sink to show at the correct height.  There is nothing unbelievable about that.
