Can not cut void in family

Hello,

For some reason, there is a particular void that will not cut in one of my curtain wall families.

The void overlaps the element- and I can not work it out- I have succesfully done it for other scenarios but this one just seems to fail.

Please refer to image below and I have uploaded the family.

This is another example. but this is the glass element.

I can successfully cut the void anywhere the wall is located- but as soon as I lock it to a particular reference line (the one I want the element to be locked to)... the void can no longer cut- either side, to the side of this reference it works fine- just not on the reference.

This would be the result of the cut, but with the small prism penetrating the main geometry  by a (very) small amount. Unfortunately your design is on the point where Revit will object. CutResult.PNG

@FAIR59  thanks for looking into this.

Are there any work around here?

Your only option is to remove the tiny "prism" first. Cut0.PNG

It looks like the issue occurs when you try and cut too small of a piece- as per the image.

As i have lots of instances of these and its parametrically driven, I cant account for all of them.

is there any work around?
