Is there any way or workaround to transfer solely the keynote parameter for same named elements from one project file to another?
Assigning keynotes can be tedious. We have a project with 15 buildings which are all separate files. When we assigned keynotes in one file for elements, can I transfer only this parameter to families of the same name in another file?
I need to transfer only this parameter because we have individual settings for walls etc for different files, but they are of the same name.
Please help. Thank you!
I am working in Revit 2016.
You can't transfer the family parameter value without transferring the whole family.

A Dynamo script might be able to do this kind of targeted parameter injection. IDK, I am not really a Dynamo guy, but with my crude knowledge I believe it may be possible. Worth looking into on their forum or at least asking the question.
Hi @loboarch
Thanks for directing to the dynamo forum
@MZ1987 Something similar https://forum.dynamobim.com/t/copy-keynote-values-to-shared-parameters/2428/9
