Can I change line weight of view crop?

In our office, we supposed to have interior elevation view's boundary (view crop line) to be thick, line weight of 6.

We have been accomplishing this by

  • Moving the boundary (crop line) close to the wall edge, so that wall section line shows thicker

  • Or overriding the boundary per view.

It would be very handy if we can set the crop line weight to 6, so that we don't have to override each view. But I have not found a way to do this.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Please advise. Thank you!

@azusaa

For now you have to work with Override By Element...Those have no category so not accessible through OS or VG.

Alternative could be Dynamo OR post a Revit Idea HERE see if it gets votes enough for Autodesk to implement

The most popular practice I saw is to put a donut-shaped (with a hole in the center) masking region on the view and select a suitable line style for the internal loop. Then the line weights can be set to that line style to update it for the whole project.
