Can exterior Finish layers of Walls be turned off in 2024?

I heard somewhere that you can now turn exterior finish/substrate functions off on WALLs and leave only the outer core line (if you'd wish). Is this true? I have to dimension to the outer CORE line of an exterior wall, but need to leave COURSE view setting. When doing so, the CORE line is not shown and it appears I have dimension extension lines going to 'nothing' on my prints, especially if I have something like a Brick finish with wood substrate.

Does anyone know how to do this in 2024?

Thanks.

Leave exterior finish/substrate layers out of core and move interior finish layers into core so that you can turn off Non-core layers via VG.

Thanks! I receive a message saying I cannot hide non-core layers in COARSE view.

Keep the view Coarse but VG and change Walls category to Medium or Fine.
