For some reason I have a pipe fitting that has its 'System Classification' and 'System Type' shown as undefined and is not changeable in the 'Properties' dialog. I have therefore been trying to change this by trying to find how this is done through the Revit 2020 Help site but none of it makes any sense;
In the 'Adding a Component to a System' it says firstly - "1 In the drawing area, select one of the components in the system where you want to add a component, and click the appropriate (Duct, or Pipe) Systems tab > System Tools panel >Edit System (Piping System or Duct System).
I have done this over and over and cannot find any of these!
Just connect it to a system.

That is easy to say but how do you connect it to a system?
It's even easier to do. I don't want to insult you by describing how to insert fixtures, draw pipes, and connect fittings because it is that easy.
You started with the default/Architectural Template didn't you? None of that stuff is loaded in there. Try starting a new model with the MEP template and all will work properly.
Find the "Edit System" as shown below.
Add it to your Keyboard Shortcuts, then use it, then look up at your ribbon. Please note that all 3 of the Edit Systems Shortcuts have the same command name.
