Callouts losing their heads

Suddenly, when I draw a callout there is no drawing reference head on it.  Why?   What setting?

you  will need to load a call out head before you can assign one > go to manage > additional setting >callout tags. thanks

@steve  check the callout parameter value weather it is in none or in call out head1.PNG

Manage > Additional settings > Callout tags

  • pick the callout tag from the type drop down
  • pick the callout head type
  • if the type says <none> pick the none option and pick the down arrow on the right
  • you should get a list of available Callout Heads loaded in your model to use. if you are not getting any options, you don't have any Callout Heads loaded and you will need to load one from the family libraries. (C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\RVT 20XX\Libraries\US Imperial\Annotations)

do this for each Callout Type in the type properties window.
