Calculating total area of one unit on two floor levels.

Hi, just wondering if there is a way to calculate the total area of one unit spread between two different levels. In my area plan I'd like the area tag to show the total area instead of just the area of this particular unit on a single floor.

Thank you!

Probably, but why do? From a documentation standpoint, it seems incoherent to be including information in one view/level that references another view/level.  Is this something you would like to be see in a sheet view containing both Area Plans? Either way, you could approach something like this with a side-bar schedule or color scheme.

Side schedule would do. However due to the complicated methods of unit area calculation where I'm from, it would simply be much easier to use area as a tool to extract precise unit sizes as opposed to using certain area calculation rules. Our drawing standards dictates that the permission drawing set to include "UNIT NAME - UNIT AREA - COMPOSITION". In this particular instance, the unit area is divided into two levels. Thus the question.

You can create an Area schedule with filters and grouping to show the total area for the 2-level units, format its appearance to look like a tag, and place it on the sheet over the area plan.

We normally have a separate schedule sorted by some unique value of specific parameter presenting summed up are of two levels without itemizing every instance.
