Calculating glazing area within curtain panels

Hello,

We have curtain wall panels comprising different combinations of glazing and opaque materials. So far, we've been pulling glazing areas into CW schesules by multiplying Glazing Height and Glazing Width shared parameters. But for non-rectalinear areas we're at a loss. Is there any way we can pull glazing areas from within CW panels directly? Thanks.

Area is a built in parameter for curtain wall panels. Do you not see this parameter?

Do you mean you have a custom panels that are comprised of 2 different materials?  If so, you could use a Material Takeoff Schedule to report those areas.

It sounds like you are using system curtain panels so there ins't necessary to use a formula, just pull the Area parameter into your schedule to get the Area. Create different panel types for different materials and you can filter/group by type.
