Calculating Cost

Hi, I recently started learning Revit, and I'm trying to calculate material costs from the material takeoff. However, when I change the cost of the metal stud in the wall layer, the costs for the plywood sheeting and wood studs also change, as shown in the image below. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Obviously you Costs for the Material will be applied in the Wall Family Type

Then in the Schedule you simply need to use Calculated Values for multiple the cost by the Length or Area and this can be done for all the other Column either using area or Value and calculated total in the formstting
