A Volume times 500 is still a volume. Your parameter is Number that's why. Either change the parameter to Volume, or change the formula to (Volume/1)*500.

500 IS THE NUMBER OF BRICKS PER M3..IF I DO IT LIKE THAT THEM I GTE AN EMPTY COLUMN.

i was selecting the volume column and then pressing calculated value..............so the volume column was replaced by this column hence the value Nil.........
