CAD Symbol not showing up in Revit renderings

I'm working on a project in revit and have imported some furniture symbols as dwg files from AutoCad.  The symbols show up as wireframe-looking shapes in all views instead of as true shapes.  When I render a view, the chairs disappear altogether and don't show up at all.  Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can solve this issue?

Yeah. Go to the CAD file and create Surfaces and apply materials to those surfaces.

...shot in the dark: check Object Styles and see if Rendering Materials are assigned.

...do you have access to AutoCAD? If so, open the dwg file in AutoCAD and see what it looks like in Realistic Visual Style. Does it look like a solid or wireframe?

How do you create a surface from 3D lines in AutoCAD? I don't have really any experience with 3D in AutoCad.

It's not a beginners subject.

Instead, why don't you go to this website and see if you can find something comparable.  Or Google it. Bet you can find one easily.
