Hi all, When I export a Revit plan view that has cropped region with a CAD Link in it, When I go to open it in AutoCAD, the Revit background shows up but the CAD link has a clipping boundary and it is no where near where the cropped region would be.
Is there any way to fix this? Currently, After I export, I have to open the CAD files individually and fix the clipping mask's location. As you can imagine, this is not optimal.
Is there a better way?
we typically, when linking AutoCAD into Revit it is only used as a reference to convert into Revit.
if you are using AutoCAD link as a point of reference then confirm the coordinate systems match and the base points are aligned between both platforms.
If you link AutoCAD (un-xclipped) into Revit do you have to move the AutoCAD file to align with Revit model?
prepare the AutoCAD file prior to linking into Revit, make it as specific as possible if you can.
Linking .dwg to export to .dwg. Seems like there should be a better way.

I have never had such problem. Can you share your Revit file and the CAD link?
