| Has anyone ever purchased a Revit template for commercial projects? I have found a couple of the sellers online. Wanted to see if anyone had some recommendations? Other firms I have worked at have had more established Revit template and processes. The firm that I work at now is new to Revit and it is hoping to minimize the time it takes to set up the template. Thoughts? |

Problem about getting a pre-made template is...does it work for your company? You could buy one and find out you can't use it, buy another and the same. Finding an implementation specialist or consultant is your best bet. If you do a Google search there are a bunch...
I'm throwing out a couple that I know....ParallaxTeam and AEC-Advantage. If you want to learn Revit I recommend @Alfredo_Medina with Planta1. (Hopefully this is allowed....I didn't post websites)
Where about's are you located? Someone may know someone close to you too.
My two-cent's worth, is in-line with @Anonymous: does a third party template adhere to your company stardards? Probably not. So, whether you use a stock template or a third party template, expect to be modifying it to suit your needs. I doubt seriously you'll find a turn-key template. My suggestion would be to save the capital investment and put that money into a consultant.
Thanks, @Anonymous for your kind referral.
