Buildingbook does not calculate the extension of the concrete in the floor and roof, what settings can I give to solve the problem?
I would set it up to generate project data. Make it a whole lot easier. Beyond that, I don't see any inaccuracies.
Working with parts works but for a complex project like the one I'm working on it's too difficult.
So Revit can't handle the amount of material actually displayed, are there no other solutions?
Have you begun the Project yet? If not, you could model "parts". That is, instead of using compound layered wall assemblies, create single layers as Wall Types and sandwich them together. Get it?
The project is finished, now I am calculating the materials. However, modeling this way makes the control of the work too complex. Revit needs to improve in the calculation.
This is the solution (from 2:32): https://help.autodesk.com/videos/Q5YjZ1bzooFEQD_1Sp6qK6ontRIK_zZG/video.webm
In this way quantity are right:
Seems more labor-intensive to me than using a Parts Workflow, but if that method works for you, then great. Glad you found a solution that is acceptable to you. Good luck. May the BIM Force be with you. ![]()
