I have a duplicate as dependant view with a buildign section marker that stretched the whole length of the building. Typical reason for duplicate as a dependant. The floor plan is too large to fit on one sheet. No problem split them up make a match line and drag the sections and grids back close to the match line on each view. Problem - The section marker stops and won't let me drag it back as far as I require. What am I missing here? IT looks like there is a "stop" of sorts at a specific spot. Please advise. see image below.
Regards Peter.
hello, have you try to delete the old section line and create a new one and see how it goes. thanks
That's great. Thanks for doing the video but it doesn't really address my issue?? My section markers seem to reset after I modify them. I actually had the issue last night where I couldn't move the one section head. This morning it was fine and I modified the location of about 8 or 9 section heads and tails. I synchronized and opened it again and it reverted back to different locations. Very strange. I haven't propogated extents, there are no scope boxes loaded. Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening? Is there some sort of setting with regards to dependant views and how the section markers are shown? Please advise.
Regards Peter.
hi, is there anyway you can post some part file of it with section line so we can check. thanks
Any resolution to this? I am having the same issue.
Trying to drag a dependent view section head on a plan with a scope box. Can't drag the head callout onto my sheet, it goes off the sheet.
I fixed my issue by removing the split segment on the master view that the dependent sections were based on.
