HI! I'm trying to "build" a Dam in Revit using the 2D information of the project made in AutoCAD.
I have tried to make the blocks of the DAM first in 3D in AutoCAD and then, trying to Import it to Revit as a Mass. Some of Blocks does works but in some of them(while I'm in the Conceptual Mass Template ) displays me the message --"Revit cannot import some of the geometry.
This result can be caused by various issues with the source file.Adjust the geometry in the file and try the import process again."--
I'm quite confused..so I'm asking if somebody of you have tried to "build" in revit a DAM( o tried to) and if this is the right method to make this kind of constructions
maybe is a strange question..but thanks in advance.
I attach a example of the blocks that Gives me this error(Block 4)
And One that works in Revit(Block2 )
Model the Blocks as Generic Model families, assemble in another Generic Model family, drop the result into Project.
