[Bug]
When running Revit in other languages on English Windows 10, the setting options of the 'wall' function are garbled
Update:
It happens at 'New Project' dialog as well.
[Background]
As we know, Revit can be run in other language by change the shortcut as below.
"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Revit 2023\Revit.exe" /language CHS
I would like it shows Chinese on my laptop but end up finding 'wall' command options(Depth/Height) cannot be displayed properly.
Please refer to the pictures below for detail.
It happens on Chinese/Japanese at least, but I guess it will appears on other Non-English language as well.
Update:
Thanks @ToanDN suggested me to change the language of Win10 to test, then I found it didn't work. . Now I think Revit set locale when installed.
I think the issue is because the Windows display language of windows 10 is set to English but Revit is being showed in other language.
It happens on Revit 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.
【English】
[Chinese]
[Japanese]
Installed Revit2021 on Win10 with Chinese language, then switch Win10 to English, Revit shows correctly in Chinese.
But When I run Revit in English by changing shortcut, the bug appears in a diffent way as below:
most of Revit menu is English except this place, it remains Chinese:
But 'wall' command is OK now
So far, I still think it's a bug that Revit does not intend to do so.
Ideally, all characters supposed to be switch to another lanuage correctly which is super handy!

If you are saying this is a bug, you must have done extensive testing. What have you tried so far?
So far I have tried 2 laptops x 4 versions of Revit, on 2 languages.
It seems you are using English win10 as well, you can help me to test it if you like.
You can simply change the shortcut of revit a bit like the 1st screenshot in my original post shows, and run Revit.
If the word of 'bug' is your concern, it does not have to be 'bug', may be just a 'problem'.
Since 'problem' keeps reappearing on different versions and computers, it's very likely a 'bug' to me.

You were able to recreate it but what have you tried to solve it?
This sounds similar to a known Windows scaling issue. Have you made sure that yours are set within recommended values?
This bug reappeared once Revit got newly installed, so everything suppose to be set to 'recommended values'.
Can I have more details about the 'known Windows scaling issue' ?
I have many questions in my day-to-day working with Autodesk software, and most of them are answered here, except this one. I noticed you contributed 707 solutions which is surprisingly amazing.
This problem occurs in a relatively special situation, assuming that you are an English-only-speaking person, and of course you do not use other languages, so there is no chance for this problem to occur at all.
But 99% of people who use other languages, I am afraid that their win10 region and language are consistent with Revit, so they will not encounter this problem as well.

It's in your Windows Display Settings.

No, Revit does not change your Windows Display Settings.
@RobDraw 已写:It's in your Windows Display Settings.
I checked my 'Windows Display Settings' and I don't see any 'issue' there. May I have a screenshot of it to see what the 'issue' looks like?
No, Revit does not change your Windows Display Settings.
I see now that you were talking about the setting 'recommended values' of 'Windows Display Settings'.
I don't know what's recommended values but my windows just got newly installed 2 weeks ago and everything there has default value.
English version Revit runs well without having to do any special set on Windows display so I suppose other languages don't need one neither.

No Changes, and found 'new' bug.
On Win7 we have a Applocale application simulates a corresponding system locale for non-Unicode applications. But Win10 doesn't have one.

It seems that your issues cannot be solved at the user level. You should try the product feedback page or whatever is the appropriate way to report your "bugs" as this is the English language users help forum. I think there's a Chinese user forum that you can check with for finding someone that might have seen this before.
I think you need to download and install Revit of different languages as separate installations.
Thanks Rob.
I posted this to 'Idea' channel but got moved here.
Chinese user forum doesn't have a suitable channel for reporting bug or even 'ideas', but I will post it there to see if others have same issue.
But as you might have noticed that this is a relatively special scenario as Chinese user must have Revit running Chinese Win 10, it's same to other language user as well.
Anyway I will post there to see what happens.

Thanks I tried this on 2023 but nothing changed.
Revit is different with Civil 3D which have different version for different language. Revit only have one 'multi language' installer like below shows.
From 2023
