I need a cheap PC for my daughter to use Revit for a high school architecture internship. She has a nice MAC but it's not running Revit well with alternative PC desktop. Her school will not let her download Revit on her school computer. And I don't want to buy a nice PC until she knows where she is going to college. For some schools she needs to buy a computer through the architecture program. Thank you for any advice.
You basically look at a budget gaming PC.
An AMD AM5 6-8-core and something like a Nvidia 4060 and 32GB RAM. Could also do an older AM4 platform with 16GB RAM.
You write cheap and budget, what's your budget? I've been pleasantly surprised at how productive I've been able to be over the years with a very modest HP Envy laptop, 17". They go for $800-1200 depending on specs. Regardless, buy as much RAM and processor as your wallet can stand and it should suffice.

What about Remote Access?
Point is, don't invest in a PC for her. MAC users don't convert that easily. PC will be an obstacle - not a lure.
