Bridge Pier famliy not fully loading in the project.

Hello Professionals and fellow Revit users,

I am fairly new to Revit and been struggling with family creations.

Recently, I created a bridge pier by using a column template as a basis. In the family edit, I can get all the extrusions and void extrusions correctly represented as I wanted but when I loaded the family into the project, the pier would only load partially.

I have been trying to solve this issues by reading several similar problem threads but the solutions have not solved my issues.

E.g I have tried cutting the void from the main body. I checked the option called 'Cut with Voids When Loaded' in the Family Category and Parameters dialog box. I checked all options in the Visibility/Graphics for Model Categories in the project settings.

I have attached the pictures of the pier for reference.

Thank you very much for your help.

Sincerely,

Kyaw

Most likely, it´s a lack of constraints in the family, to lock the voids to the top level of the column template, to be at a certain distance from the top. Hard to say more without having more information.

Thank you for the quick reply.

Yes, I tired to lock/pin the void object to the main extrusion or pier and loaded into the project. Then, every void I created disappears.

I loaded the project for your reference.

Sincerely,

Kyaw
