Brick veneer hatching covers internal frame

Hi, is this normal hatching behaviour?  I would like the brickwork hatching to only hatch the veneer and leave the structural frame alone, is there any way to do this?

It looks like this....

I want it to look like this..

Thanks

How did you get the hatching shown bottom screenshot to work?

@barthbradley I used fill region to trace the wall.  I'm hoping there's a setting somewhere because I don't want to do that every time.

Is the wall set to course detail? Does it help if it is change to medium or fine detail?

It's set to coarse in the first pic, it has the behaviour I don't like. Medium and fine don't show hatching at all.

You can add cut hatch to the wall layers. Screenshot below show you can define what hatch you want your assembly look. I find this is much easier. If you want course display, then you have to separate into two walls - one with hatch and the other isn't hatch.

That looks like me, where do I find cut hatch?

When you edit the wall, click on the material. In there it will bring you the list of material and you can click on the hatch to define the hatch pattern

Brilliant, thank you. I was digging around in there last night, kinda frustrating that I had the solution right in front of me without even realising it! Cheers for that.
