Hello to the community,
I liked to break my plan into for example 3 different section, I managed to break them with crop view but the problem with this is, the annotation remains in the viewport as shown in attached image, how can I remove them? I followed on of the forum stating to use it as a dependent view, but both method simply doesn't solve my issue. As stated in the title, this is a linked between multiple models linked in as an Attachment. The annotations are all done in their own respective view with a view template in place.
As you can see in the image Annotation Removal 2, when I move the view closer together, the annotation doesn't go away but it also becomes haywire. Is there anything that I can do to fix this issue?
Regards and Thank you,
Raymond Thong

The only idea that I have is to try with masking regions.

Change the Link Display from By Linked View to Custom so that you can turn off or hide unwanted annotation.
Or, you can open the link, create a dependent view, break it the same way, save/reload the link, and choose this broken view for Display By Linked View.
Create a Symbol Family that contains parametric Masking Region, load it into Project and place over the stuff you want covered up and size the Masking Region to the necessary size using the Parameters.
By "Symbol Family", I mean Generic Annotation Family.
The results I am trying to come out was something like this.
But this is through stitching multiple dependent view together in the Sheets, is there another work-around for this?
I created a parametric Masked region via Generic Annotation Family, but since it is in the crop region, it doesn't work out the way I want it.
Aren't you Breaking the Crop Boundary into two or more Region and then moving the Regions closer together?
...and with a Link that is displayed BY LINKED VIEW?
yes exactly this, but the grids and annotation remain the the drawing, I liked to remove the annotation in the break.
If I move them closer, the annotation just doesn't crop together like they would in the the outer box.
You need to fidget with it. Post your file if you want me to look at it.
C'mon, can't you just post the files here? I hate downloading files from people/sources I don't know personally/professionally. No offense to you. I'm just weird that way.
Place this family on sheet and stretch to mask the gap. 2022 version.
