Bluebeam PDFs Are Incredibly Slow

Is anyone else experiencing incredibly long print to PDF times over the past few weeks? Printing out 2 sheets takes 30 minutes now for me, while doing the exact same process thats taken 10 seconds for the last 8 years.

I found a recent article from Autodesk that basically says, "yep, you can't print PDF's anymore with Bluebeam or Acrobat, deal with it."

The article also provides the solution, use the native PDF export

If you need to use a3rd party printer, did you try the suggested settings?

My office is also experiencing this issue (half employee machines are affected to my knowledge).

The "workaround" averages 45 minutes to plot a 10 page set.  And it still fails ~50% of the time.

When you go to plot to pdf > Revit hangs for about 15 minutes.  Then it stops hanging.  About 30 minutes or so afterward, it may or may not ask where you would like to save the files.

If you use the Bluebeam pdf exporter plugin, it still takes about 45 minutes to export your pages, but now they are all out of order and you can't save plot sets to track drawing releases.
