Blank White Page(Activation page) on Revit 2017 startup

Hello

Revit 2017 has been installed on End-User machine and while opening first time from the installation it is initializing and showing as white screen

as below, once clear the user data from C:\user\xxxx\Appdata\local\Autodesk and C:\user\xxxx\appdata\roaming\Autodesk\Revit , its showing the activcation window but it is not moving further.

Product info:

Action Taken:

  1. Clear the temp files,
  2. Graphics has been checked,
  3. Tried this :https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Regist...
  4. Antivirus has updated.
  5. Uninstalled and reinstalled.

I am awaiting for an expert suggestions here to solve this task as its strange.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Did you clear the user data after reinstalling it or not ?

Try to uninstall using the autodesk uninstaller not the usual uninstall.

Make sure you have an internet connection.

If my answer helped you , please kudo and accept as a solution.

Thanks

Just ran into the same error.

Fix was/is run Revit as an administrator - right click the shortcut and choose run as administrator. Then you'll get the licensing screen. Do that, and you should be good to go.

Sounds as if you're in a locked down more than usual environment (i know i am 🙂 ) and you need rights to do the licensing portion of things.

Had the same issue.

Finally resolved it after uninstalling / clearing residual files /  reinstalling etc (Non seemed to work)

Just hit "F5" on the Activation page that has not loaded - (Refresh and should load as normal)

You can then select the licence you have - Network / Stand alone etc.
