Binding IFC Model not showing correctly

I'm wondering why after binding the IFC Model, the model is messed up? I tried purging the groups that the binded IFC Model creates, reloading links. I'm not sure where else do I troubleshoot.

Note: I have previously binded an IFC Model and it worked perfectly fine. This is the second model iteration that we received.

After further troubleshooting, what is causing the problem is a category under Structural Framing > Direct Shape > (Letters and Numbers)

What is odd is that, when Purging Unused, the Structural Framing > Direct Shape Family is not showing up in the list.

Has this issue been rectified yet by Autodesk? We face similar problem while using Revit 2024 above, specifically binding the IFC in second iteration.

I have been encountering this still later versions.

I do what I said above to purge unused the Direct Shapes. Since we normally received IFC Models that are being exported from Tekla.

A better workflow that we have been using lately is using Autodesk Data Exchange.

Thanks @mdeguzman-CP for clarifying. What I understand is that you are:

1. Able to avoid the issue by purging unused Direct Shapes in the first bind - I'm not sure about this step, maybe I missed out something.

2. Autodesk Data Exchange feature - This is a good alternative, definitely will try it!

My company is dealing with Revit-Tekla interoperability, we use IFC as an exchange format (precast modular and steel structure). Since Revit is considered our main authoring software in BIM, we import the IFC inside Revit most of the time. However, our development team managed to create an add-in that can re-create the IFC elements via Revit (auto-generated from IFC), including mapping the IFC parameter to Revit - much faster than default binding in Revit.
