Hi,
is there a way to import elements from the linked model avoiding grouping of those elements?
When I use the "Bind Link" tool, the imported elements (eg Walls split to Parts) are being grouped causing loss of the geometry of the Parts.
Thanks!

It often happens that when binding a link, you get alot of errors certainly with voids, parts, etc.
As @martijn_pater mentioned, do you really need to bind the link?
Hi,
I've got a few types of hotel rooms, multiplicated on each level. I could use Groups but I also use Parts, which, when changed, do not update in the group instances. That's why I chose linked file.
Unfortunately it is required of me to provide the model in one file, with no links.
Maybe there are other ways to copy the elements from the linked files other than binding?
Thanks!
Yes, you can copy parts it if you copy both the original as well as its parts. Set view to show both. Might be useful to make an assembly of it, if possible. Not binding it however seems like a lot less trouble, but if you absolutely have to...
I know that with an ifs you can select an object and copy and paste to the same place.
Don't you know whether there's a way of batch copying of all of the elements from the linked model?
I tried accessing the linked elements via Dynamo but with no success so far 🙂
Success!
Finally I managed to copy all the needed elements from the linked file (and paste them in the exact place) using Dynamo with Rhytm, Archilab and Springs packages.
Thanks!
