BIM Glue with different versions of Revit

Hi,

Can i upload to the same BIM Glue project with different versions of Revit?

lets say:

upload dwf created in Revit 2017, lets say from ARC.rvt

upload nwc created in Revit 2014, lets say from STR.rvt

Also,

whilst I'm here, is there any issues with linking files within Revit from different versions of Revit? e.g. linking a Revit 2014 file into a Revit 2017 file?

Thanks,

Hi BEE_Design,

It is possible to upload with different versions of Revit to BIM360 Glue as long as you have acces to your BIM360 Addinn in your specific versions of Revit.
The published product (model) within BIM360 Glue will be a DWF or NWC. Those are not related to Revit versions anymore.

For your second question,
When you link a Revit 2016 Model to your model in Revit 2017, Revit will always temporarily update your linked model to the newer version.
Every time you will start your Revit 2017 Model it will again update your links to the newer version.

This shouldn’t give you any problems, since updating files works well the last couple years.

Good Luck, I would really like to hear if this helps you out.
