BIM/CAD

Hello...I'm trying to create an X/Y Mapping index, a graph (2x2 Grid Pattern) with numbers- x=1,y=1, x1=y2, etc... that overlays over a room or covers an entire building. Any Ideas???, I've tried a bunch of different options, creates spaces, model lines, manually add numbers to each square. Ive encountered several issues with it, it slows down Revit for one, creating the Family doesnt number the boxes of the grid automatically, so on...I appreciate any ideas the group might have.

Thanks

Why not just use a Revit grid? It gives you whatever you want!

To go back to what you are trying to do - try a family with parametric arrays for the lines in the X and Y. The lines should have a length parameter built in - type based should work.

@marmenta

Do you want it 2D (only visible in plan views) or 3D?
