I have a big project in revit 1000 m x 1000m with 360 grid lines
and 7 levels.
I have to create sheets by floors.
I want to divide the project into small projects:
1-I can divide the project floor by floor , each floor has a small project then link all floors together.
Or
2- I can divide the project by parts, each part is 100m x 100m with 7 levels then link all the parts together.
What is better ? And why?

Hi!
It depends on the structure of building. We prefer to split buildings by sections (splitted by isolation joints as a sample) . We do so because the model may have elements that extend to several floors and we give out detailed design to construction site by structure sections. Anyway, think in advance of the structure of the building and do based on the situation.
I would have a whole bunch more questions of you before I could intelligently advise you. I have no idea why you are breaking it up in the first place. Doesn't sound like you do either. Maybe I'm misreading. What are your reasons?
Hi
You can ask anything , i will reply..
The project is a big project,
i tried to use one file for the entire project without dividing it into small projects. In this case i have a a very slow project on my pc.
To prevent large project files on my pc i want to divide it into small projects.
Okay, so I did misread. You're obviously at that stage where the project needs to be broken up. That's usually when we start having a lot of meetings. I hate meetings.
FWIW: you can break up the building model into worksets too.
