Hi, is there a parametric window that anyone knows of, which allows you to change to the desired opening and create mullions and transoms wherever needed? Ideally to look great in plan at 1:100 and 1:50, elevation and 3D. And to have window sills.
I am downloading lots of files from Bimobject etc. but really I just need to create them more simply to suit. I was using curtain walls but they do strange things by adding unwanted infill walls during phasing. I just want ordinary editable windows that I can phase appropriately.
Thanks

Yes there is. All of them are in our library. ![]()
Go to Marvin Windows. You can download Revit content directly from their site. If they don't have Transom Family you like, you can always mull together the ones you want. You can even get mulling specifications and detail drawings from their site.
Thanks barthbradley,
Are there any others that people know about? They don't have to be anything special, just easy to edit and flexible.
Pella, Jeld -Wen...there's quite a few vendors the provide BIM content. I learned to build my own Windows by reversing-engineering many them.
Thanks barthbradley - all your suggestions are in imperial units and I'm in the UK so I'm looking for something with metric units. Also I thought there would be a parametric window which is not from a supplier, which allows you to type in the width, height and sill height, no. of mullions and transoms, and edit it to how you need it to look. A bit like curtain walls. Thanks

Changing the Project Units to Metric - or whatever - doesn't work for you? (Manage Tab=>Project Units.)
Also, all the generic windows in Revit's Metric and Imperial content libraries are fully parametric. The content libraries also include Muntin Families in the "Muntin" folder - of all places.
Did you install the Revit Content?
