Best format to import from Revit 2017 to Autodesk flow design

Hi, I want to import my model from Revit 2017 to Autodesk flow design, however I cannot open any of my exported models from Revit into Flow,  no matter what kind(*.SAT,  *.dwg, *. fbx, *.dxf). I would appreciate it if you could help me with that.

Thank you in advance

Hi @Anonymous

Welcome to the Autodesk community!

Flow Design is only supported in Revit 2014 & 2015.  If you want to run an analysis on your 2016 Revit models then you should export out an ACIS file and read that into Flow Design directly.

See notes on installation and how to export to SAT. Try exporting a single sheet - current view only.

See similar post HERE

Flow Design supports these file types

Let me know if any of the above helps, or I'll be happy to test your file.

Looking forward to your reply update.

Regards
