Best file format for imports into Revit

I'm trying to find some cad details for green roof layering and I'm finding several on caddetails.com but trying to recall the best format to import into revit. My choices are .pdf, dxf, dwg, and dwf

It would be nice if they were editable after import but I don't think that's possible. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Thank You

DWG would be my preferred choice since it can be editable within Revit once you explode them. DXF also works the same as DWG. For PDF and DWF, you cannot edit them inside Revit.
