Being part of this community led movement

Many community led practices need more reassurance Revit can be used at workshops with non-users ? How can we make this happen?

Just do it.

If it fails, blame non-users.

Whatever it is about, I have learned a few new terms today "community led practice", "non-user workshop". Can't wait to throw them out in a conversation in the next social distanced gathering in the office.

Saying "Community Led Revolution" during these times might be dangerous.  Might incite something, if you know what I mean.  :zwinkerndes_Gesicht:

I’m happy my ideas are inspiring :lächelndes_Gesicht_mit_lächelnden_Augen:. I’m an Architectural Designer who works for an Architectural practice who focuses on community-led projects ( affordable housing ). The design process we use involves the local communities input via workshops. I also use Revit and in the UK all public funded projects are required to use level 2 Bim. The local community will not use Revit but I was wondering if a more friendly non-user interface could be integrated. Just a thought :lächelndes_Gesicht_mit_lächelnden_Augen: as there is a shift where the Architect/Designer is not at the centre of the design process but actually a participant collaboratively with the user, consultants and clients.

In the unique case of the footwear inside the image, I'd likely go along with curves/splines and lofting at least for the base shape as you can see. The decorations can then be created with a aggregate of equipment along with the sculpt equipment.

Better late than never, I guess.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.
