batch plotting to pdf - still can't print individual pages automatically?

I just wanted to confirm that you cannot print individual sheets to pdf without having to accept every plot?  I have a client that has to print individual pdf sheets with a certain naming conventions.  Basically a prefix of the job# and the sheet number for each sheet.  They could have over 100 sheets and they do not want to have to hit enter for every plot and change the name.

Is Docuflow still the recommended app?  Any other suggestions appreciated.  Thank you.

Regards Peter.

@Pshupe

It depends on the pdf print driver you are using. Most drivers allow user to preset/predefined all inputs/metadata and to print a set of individual pdfs without needing to confirm each plot.

Revit 2022 you can export to pdf instead

In Adobe, you can batch print individual file. To do this, you have to set the adobe to print to a folder. Make sure the view Adobe PDF result is checked off

When you batch print from Revit, Adobe will create individual file and placed in that folder. If the Adobe stalled, you can go to Task manager and end the Acrotray 32. Once you did that, Revit will proceed to the next plot without ending the whole batch process.

The other alternative I've used is the Diroots Prosheet. This allows batch print to multiple single file with prefix and suffix added to the print.

Thanks - that got me thinking about the Bluebeam PDF printer driver that I am using and there are some custom printing options in the Add-ins tab that solves the issue very nicely.

Thanks - I do not have the Adobe print drivers but use Bluebeam which has some great tools in the Add-ins tab that will do exactly what I want.

Every PDF printer should have the similar option.  You just need to dig up the settings to change it.

Yeah - It was easy for Bluebeam because there commands added into the Add-ins tab.   I don't see it being possible with Microsoft Print to PDF as there just isn't many options.  Not sure if there are free print drivers out there that would give you more options.  Probably why they charge for these.
