Basic wall isn't show materials

Hi,

Revit noob here,

After searching the internet and not finding a solution I have decided to post here. I have materials in my model and they are showing fine, apart from the walls. There is a texture attached to the weatherboard material and, I also tried it with the roof texture to make sure it wasn't a problem with the image, but that didn't work either. Tried moving the layers around and changing different settings in the assembly menu.

Thank you for your help.

This is 3 walls out together, I'm looking at the exterior grey one.

Or are you asking for the RFA file?

Check: Manage Tab>Materials>Appearance. Is there a render asset (material map) assigned to your weatherboard material?

Is your 3D View set to Realistic View? It needs to be for the Material Maps to display.

Note that the new versions of Revit have a real-time rendering associated w/ Realistic View.

Hi,

This wasn't the issue, but it did lead me to find the problem, the "image fade" slider was set to 0...

Nooby mistake i guess.
