Hi guys and gals,
I am working on a project with a stair and balustrade that we are redoing. The balustrade has infill panels and at the landing where the railing turns on itself the balustrade infill panel went haywire. What is causing this weird kink and what is the best way of fixing it?
I tried making the handrail and balustrade square at that point, but it just made it weirder:
Any thoughts or ideas?
try to extend length of your riser at landing or post your stair here so we can check?
I am pretty confined to this small space and there is no room for movement up, down, right, left so I'm stuck with what I have. I did manage to split the railing into 3 parts and model it that way, at least that got rid of the kink but it was still not graphically pleasing. I've separated my stair into an empty project, feel free to have a play. It's always easier when there's a model to play with than to explain in words.
adjust when necessary?
What is it I'm supposed to adjust when necessary, I'm a bit unclear? Also, are you're saying it's in the balustrade infill family that the fault lies and not the distance it spans?
cut a section between two stairs you will see the difference risers locations going up?
