I am trying to create a custom railing with steel mesh panels. I created a baluster panel family following the pattern i want and i created two families for the top and bottom rails. As i create my new type of handrail and adjust the settings for the new type (from rail structure to baluster placement) i still have issues on the corners, beginning and ending of the railing. The panels do not connect on corners and at the start and the end they penetrate the walls without cutting.
If i am considering to make parameters in the family i can't find the logic to relate it to the project. so i don't know if this is the path for the solution. Hopefully someone has the answer.

Unfortunately, you are going to have to do the math and size the panel based on the exact number of panels you need -- or have different custom-sized panels to fit those end situations. Some procedure as shown in this course:
