While editing a Toposolid, the Backround process starts calculating non-stop. After 15 minutes i received a message that the calculation has failed. I have an option to start over and another inactive option to send a fault call.
Has anyone encountered such a problem?

Install updates and try again.
Hi @barakauto
Thanks a lot for posting your question to the forums! As @jvpantin2 suggests, can you try install any updates and try the process again. Updates can be found either in your Autodesk Account or using Autodesk Access.
We look forward to hearing back from you with more information so we can help you as a community!

Im having the same issue, Revit 2024 updated version and a soon as I move any of the points and close the background calculation starts and carries on for a long time (been waiting now up to 20Mins) can't save my progress.
Any suggestions?
Hi, @ataloSNFQ5, are you talking about survey/ project base points? If you are having issues because of this, a good practice is to keep these points as close to model as possible (also and specially to internal origin point). All calculations in Revit are related to them, so, if they are far away, coordinates/ numbers/ distances will be larger, and this will slower performance.
Thanks, I believe that may be the case, Ill review my points.
Thanks for your prompt response.
I have same problem (smaller site but many contour points) but may have figured out a rather unwieldly workaround.
Before editing the Toposolid in the Orig file, make sure to make a copy of your project (Temp Topo file) and have the same view opened in it.
Go to the Orig file and edit the Toposolid. Once editing is complete:
1. Select the Toposolid in the Orig file.
2. Copy/Paste it into the Temp Topo file (Aligned to Current View).
3. Then save the Temp Topo file (with new Toposolid).
4. Next, CTL ALT DEL and force closing of Revit!
5. Open Revit and re-open both the Orig file and the Temp Topo file.
6. Select the (old) Toposolid in the Orig file and DELETE it.
7. Select the (new) Toposolid in the Topo Temp file.
8. Copy/Paste it into the Orig file (Aligned to Current View).
9. Finally save the Orig file with the New Toposolid.
Hopefully there is a better solution around somewhere.
