Automatic view position in the Revit browser organization

Good evening guys,

I am building my own template for our office and I started from an Autodesk German Template. I have translated almost 90% from German to English and now I would like to ask you how can I change the parameter value in (1) as they are in (2).

When I create new views, these go automatically in (1), but unfortunately, the ordering parameter values are still German words, I have to make them in English.

Anyone can help me?

Thanks for your help

Can't you just open the German (GER) Template in an English (ENU) Language Version of Revit?

...I just opened the English Sample File in French.  Translated fine - but then again, I don't speak French. For all I know, those could be French cuss words. Ha!

Edit the view template being used for new Views...The values for view sorting and grouping parameters must have been set as part of the view template

  • Thanks for the answer, but unfortunately it's not only about the template, it's mainly about creating new sections and 3D view. When I create a new section, it goes automatically under the German section and not under the new one.

  1. When you create a new view you need to select which view type to use first
  2. Besides that Edit the view type and change to the new one to either use a different view template or adjust the view template to have new values for the sorting parameters.

No other way besides that...and you have to do for all view types defined in the project
