Autodesk Software 2018 (Revit mostly) & Nvidia Quadro P4000 Graphics Issues

Recently my office has been making some upgrades to our machines. We specified the Quadro P4000 cards. After installing 2018 software suite we have been experiencing a number of graphics issues.

We have installed the updated 2018.1 and the latest hot fix. We have also tested a number of different Nvidia Drivers including the latest one R384 U4 (385.69). We are running Windows 10.

Some of the graphics issues:

When the default driver is installed, Revit only opens to license screen but is white.

When driver is removed and reinstalled, Revit will open past license screen but when files are opened all views are white (can't see any model or linework in any type of view)

When driver is updated to latest version, same white screen on all files.

Default driver produces same white screen in AutoCAD and 3ds Max

When driver is updated to latest version, AutoCAD and Max open but with other numerous graphics issues.

Has anyone had this issue?

I can quite pin down if its a driver issue, a Revit 2018 with Quadro P4000 issue or maybe a combination of all of them with Windows 10??

I have also installed other graphic software such as Rhino 5, Adobe Suite and Sketchup with no graphics issues thus far.

I'm having the same issue.  It seems to be a scaling issue due to the video card processing at 4K natively.  I found this fix that worked to allow me to open a model in Revit 2016 when before I was having the all white screen with no ability to use the model at all.

It's not a good workaround, mind you.  It basically magnifies your entire screen to the point where all the windows are huge, but the program will work under those settings.  Hopefully this gets resolved properly soon.

Hi @Anonymous

Sorry to hear that you are facing issues with the software.

Please use this tool to find recommended system hardware or graphics hardware and drivers.

Please try the following solutions and let me know if this resolves your issue:

  • Disable Protection from Anti-Virus.
  • Update / Create LGS.data information in this folder: C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\CLM\LGS\<Product_Key>_2018.0.0.F
You can find <Product_Key> key from this page: HERE
    3. Make sure you have keyed in the right value inside LGS.data = _STANDALONE for single user license & _NETWORK for multi user license.
    4. Re-launch the Revit 2018, the issue should be fixed.

If this still does not fix your issue, please try the following recommendations:

  • Reset licensing by removing the ADUT files, Flexnet, and LGS.data
  • Lower UAC
  • Empty %TEMP%
  • Run Revit 2018 as an administrator

ADUT files location here -

C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ADUT

C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\ADUT

Flexnet file location here -

C:\ProgramData\FLEXnet (.data)

Note: please remove only adskflex not adobeflex (this is for Adobe sw)

LGS file location here -

C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\CLM\LGS

(choose your version - Revit 2018)

Lastly, apply the Autodesk License Service - 5.1.15 hotfix. More information HERE

Please select the Accept as Solution button if my post solves your issue or answers your question. Kudos welcome!

Regards,
